Le Petit Gateau

It was not by sheer coincidence that all the cakes we ordered were heavenly. In fact, it was a true reflection of the cakes' quality in Le Petit Gateau. They are definitely one of the best cakes I had ever eaten. Le Petit Gateau is small and unassuming, but its cakes will make you remember the place forever. The petite cakes are baked freshly everyday by award winning French pastry chef Pierrick Boyer & his team. Despite his international success, Perrick Boyer remains down to earth and humble. I said that because he actually bothered to comment on my instagram picture telling us that he hoped we enjoyed it. Of course we did! :)

All cake slices are at AUD $8.50 each. From bottom left in a clock wise direction - Hazelnut millefeuille, brownie passionfruit gateau and peanut jelly. I will be returning real soon.
